Mykola P.
Mykola P., hang glider pilot, Ukrainian national team member. Aeros test pilot and an orthodox priest. After the beginning of the russian aggression in 2014, he joined the Hospitallers Volunteer Medical battalion. Initially he went to the front as a chaplain, and then - as a chaplain and a paramedic. In February 2022 he became a combat paramedic for the Territorial Defense rapid response platoon in Kyiv led by Marusia Zvirobiy, becoming one of the renowned “Marusia’s Bears”. After special training and combat coordination the platoon is on a combat mission as part of the assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Oleksiy D., a hang glider and rigid wing pilot from Kyiv, programmer. Currently serving as an ambulance driver and paramedic in the Hospitallers volunteer medical battalion, which transports injured soldiers from the frontline to hospitals. Oleksiy has helped hundreds of soldiers and civilians. In his free time between tours of duty he does volunteer work for the PilotsHelpUA nonprofit.

Later, he joined the Armed Forces and currently performs tasks in the combat zone.

Anton L., a hang glider pilot, winch-towing flights organizer. It is with his help that the majority of Kyiv pilots completed their most interesting cross-country flights, and the beginner pilots - their first routes ever. Anton is now a mortar gunner in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Konstiantyn G., a winch-tow driver. In peacetime, he helps us reach the sky every weekend. Having served in the Armed Forces since 2015 and then spending some time in reserve, he returned to the UAF after the beginning of the full scale invasion.

Roman A., a pilot of hang gliders and airplanes, aircraft design engineer in Antonov company. He served in the Armed Forces after 2014, retired to the reserve for a time, and returned to the Armed Forces in February 2022.
